Dear MyNigeria reader,
The death of the young Miss Iniubong Umoren is a sign that the youth are growing impatient with the system. The young job seeker was gruesomely killed by Uduak Frank Akpan, who lured her with the promise of getting her a job. Her only crime was her hunger to work.
Her death led to an influx of persons who have been victims of this particular crime.
The agitation for secession from elements within the country is louder than ever. The fight by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu gained some international recognition within the week. Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho remains the most prominent Nigerian from the southwest demanding for Yoruba Nation. He stated in a recent rally in Osogbo that “there is no election again in Yorubaland until we have a Yoruba nation".
So far 166, 000 Nigerians have been affected by the virus, while, 2,066 have died.
